Our values
The foundation of any organization is based on sound, enduring values. No organization can function well if it does not have pillars called "Values". At GLTC, the foundation of our services rests on the following four pillars: Trust, Respect, Efficiency and Effectiveness.
Trust: Trust means believing in others and in their abilities. This leads us to entrust them with tasks, responsibilities and the management of projects, departments and even entire organizations. Trust means accepting that we must depend on others for certain things. It means treating them as reliable human beings.
Reliability: is linked to teamwork, where people can rely on each other from start to finish on a task or project. Being reliable means that every team member is trustworthy. According to Patrick Lencioni (2002), lack of trust is the main cause of team dysfunction. When team members can't trust each other, it means they can't rely on each other. Lack of trust within a team sooner or later reflects on the entire organization. At GLTC, trust and reliability go hand in hand: you want people to trust you, so be reliable in your leadership.
Respect: the consideration and attention we give to others without preconditions. Too often, people say, "Respect has to be earned". But in leadership, this is false. You want to be a role model, a person who influences others, so give people your respect without preconditions. At GLTC, we're certain that the Creator created everyone with great care. Therefore, all human beings deserve our unconditional respect. Your leadership will depend in part on the respect you give to people, and especially to your colleagues.
Efficiency: the ability to get things done with the little we have. The efficient use of an organization's resources means ensuring that the result of our resources far exceeds our expectations. And a good stewardship leader ensures that resources are not wasted. At GLTC, we value good stewardship of available resources, while encouraging our leaders to fight resource waste at all levels. The efficient leader must be an ambassador for good resource management in these times of geopolitical and climatic crisis. The efficiency of a leader contributes to his or her personal happiness, and that of his or her colleagues and environment.
Efficiency means being able to do what needs to be done accurately, while taking time into account. An effective leader is one who is able to give his or her employees what they need accurately and in record time. At GLTC, we value efficiency because we are convinced that with effective tools, we can make you happy and fulfilled leaders for your personal happiness as well as the happiness of your organization. That's why our motto is Leadership = Efficiency + Effectiveness for the Happiness of All (EEBT).
