Dr Pierre SORO is an entrepreneur at heart, and loves a challenge. His childhood experiences and his passion for social justice led him to create an association of which he is the General Secretary (www.sareptasuisse.org). This association, in turn, has created an ever-evolving medical center in his grandparents' village of Tangafla (www.centremedicaltangafla.com).

Pierre SORO likes to share his professional and personal life experiences. He has a great deal of respect for small trades, as he himself was a baggage handler known in his day as "Pousseur de Wotoro", in addition to his experience as a peasant during the school vacations. In secondary school, he learned the trade from his maternal uncle in Tangafla during the school vacations. It was this experience that led him to choose the Bryan School of Business and Economics in North Carolina and later the Cook School of Business in South Carolina for his bachelor's and PhD degrees respectively.

With all this professional experience, he will embark on the project that led him to leave Côte d'Ivoire in May 2001 for the United States of America: to do a PhD in an Anglo-Saxon country, as English is his adopted language. In August 2020, he will enroll in the doctoral program at Columbia International University, where he will combine his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in theology and his decades of professional experience to complete a PhD in Organizational Leadership. His thesis is entitled :

An administrative strategy for staff retention in private health centers in Côte d'Ivoire: A phenomenological study.
